THE GUIDE TO DIAMONDS

Lab Grown Diamonds are real diamonds, created with state-of-the-art science and technology. They have the same composition and brilliance as mined stones.

While science takes care of precision, the human touch goes further in the cutting and polishing of the stone; giving you the best of both worlds.

At House of Quadri, our lab-grown solitaires are certified by the International Gemological Institute (IGI).

Why Lab Diamonds?

We truly believe ‘feel good jewelry’ should be feel good in every which way. Which is why our lab grown diamonds come with none of the ethical and sustainable concerns that natural diamonds come with. Quite literally guilt-free.

Identically, Lab grown diamonds reflect light in exactly the same way as mined diamonds because their chemical structure is the same.

This means the sparkle, fire, and brilliance you see from a lab grown diamond is exactly the same as a mined diamond.

THE 4 C's OF DIAMONDS

EXPLAINED

Diamonds are graded across the world on standard parameters known as the 4 C’s : Carat, Cut, Colour and Clarity.

We’re here to help you understand these details and choose the right solitaire for you.

CARAT

The Carat refers to a Diamond’s weight, but not size. One carat equals 0.2 grams, about the weight of a paper clip. But bigger doesn’t always mean better.

A diamond’s true appeal lies in the balance, where carat, cut, colour, and clarity come together in perfect harmony.

COLOUR

The perfect Diamonds have a bright, near-colorless look. Diamonds are graded on a Whiteness scale or absence of colour scale.

Basically, the more whiter or clearer the colour of a diamond, the greater its sparkle, and thereby its value. The IGI colour scale ranges from D (colourless) to Z (light yellow).

CLARITY

The Clarity refers to the tiny natural marks or inclusions formed during its creation. The diamond clarity scale ranges from Flawless to Included.

These imperfections are not flaws, but rather the natural fingerprint of every diamond. Most are invisible to the naked eye, yet they help define a stone’s individuality while influencing its overall transparency.

CUT

The cut is what gives a Diamond its life - its sparkle, fire, and brilliance. A well-cut diamond reflects light beautifully and looks radiant from every angle, while a poorly cut one can appear dull and lifeless.

At HOQ, every diamond is cut with precision, balancing art and science.

Our Approach to Diamonds

At House of Quadri, we believe a diamond chooses you as much as you choose it. Something about the way it catches the light, the way it sits, the way it makes you feel in that one moment.

Because at the end of the day, a diamond is not just a stone. It is a feeling, a memory, and a promise that stays with you forever. Find the one that speaks to you.
