Platinum is dense. Precise. Unforgiving in the best way. But that same strength means it can't be resized later. So we get the size right before it becomes yours.
It's heavier.
The same design in platinum sits noticeably heavier on the hand than in gold. Most men adjust to it within a week. If you'd rather feel less on your hand, gold may suit you better.
Resale is thinner in India.
Gold has an established buyback and exchange network here. Platinum's is smaller, and not every jeweller will take it back. Buy this as something you're keeping, not something you're planning to trade in.

How long before my date should I order?
Six weeks is comfortable. Production is about three weeks; the rest is for design approval, sizing and shipping.
White gold vs Platinum?
White gold is gold underneath, plated white it needs replating every year or two to stay that colour, but it's easier to resize and easier to resell or exchange here.
Platinum is white all the way through and never needs replating, but it's denser, harder to resize once cast, rarer, with a thinner resale market in India.
Choose gold for flexibility. Choose platinum for something that stays exactly as made.
Does platinum cost more than gold?
In terms of per gm costing at current rates it is lower, around 7-8k per gm for 95% purity. However the metal is denser, so actual weights of pieces are generally higher.

You can choose a design or consult with us for recommendations. Once that is done we will share with you a costing based on the ring size. After approval and advance, the order processing will take 3-4 weeks.
How do I get the size right if nothing's pre-made?
You will have to take your ring size through a common Indian Ring sizer (refer ring size guide) or visit any of our locations to check your ring size.
