Within India
- HOQ offers complimentary shipping for Metro Cities in India. Additional charges upto Rs. 5000/- will apply for deliveries to remote locations, please check your pincode with us before placing an order.
- Shipping time to Metro cities is normally 1-2 working days
- For logistics and insurance purposes, our team will reach out to request an Identity proof of the person who will receive the parcel. Our logistics partner will hand over the parcel only to the specified person.
- Once the item is shipped a tracking link is sent to you. The delivery partner representative will reach out on your given number and co-ordinate the delivery.
- We cannot reroute the shipment once it is shipped from HOQ.
- All HOQ Products are default insured by us during the transit.
- Once you receive the parcel in your hand please check its contents immediately before signing the receipt document and relieving the delivery partner.
- In an uneventfully rare occasion if your shipment is tampered or lost, you must report to HOQ immediately.
- At HOQ we understand that jewellery is gifted on a special occasion or as a surprise. Please let us know in advance to maintain your surprise.
- Reverse pick ups: In the event you cannot drop off your item at an HOQ location you can request for a reverse pick up. For all Metro cities a nominal shipping charge of Rs. 1000/- will be applicable. For remote location it will at actual cost upto Rs. 5000/- Please check the pincode with us.
International Shipments
- For International orders please check with us the country for shipping. HOQ is able to ship to USA, UK, Australia, UAE, Germany, Switzerland and Canada. Other countries are dependant on our logistics partner.
- In general the transit timeline would be 7- 10 working days to Australia, USA, UK and most of Europe where shipping is possible.
- For all international shipments, a minimum order value of ₹1,00,000 (approx. $1,170) is required.
- Secured shipping charges vary based on the country usually starting from US$175 to $300. Plus customs/import duty between 10-50% is applicable which is specific to each country.
- Please importantly note International shipments are non-refundable & non-returnable.
- Once the product is sold and delivered, it cannot be repaired.

Day-to-Day Care & Cleaning
- Gentle Home Cleaning: Regularly wipe the diamond and setting with a soft, lint-free cloth. Use a mild solution of warm water and gentle dish soap with a soft toothbrush to gently clean hard-to-reach areas.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Prevent contact with common chemicals (shampoo, lotion, cleaning sprays, perfume).These can leave a film that dulls your diamond's sparkle. Always rinse your ring well after accidental exposure.
- Protect from Activity: Always remove your ring before activities that involve impact (exercising) or immersion (swimming, dishwashing, or showering). Impact can loosen the stone, and chlorine can damage the metal.
- Proper Storage: When not wearing your ring, store it safely in a soft, lined jewelry box or pouch. Diamonds are extremely hard and can scratch other jewelry, so do not store it next to other pieces.

Annual Cleaning: We offer one complimentary cleaning service per year. Drop off your HOQ product at any of our locations, and it will be cleaned within one week.
Remote Service (Shipping) : For remote customers, we can organize pick-up and drop-off. Shipping is charged at actual cost, estimated at ₹1,000/- one way (2-way charge applies).
Important Service Notes
- Resizing: Complimentary resizing is offered for single solitaire settings only, limited to +/- 1 full size.
- Stone Setting: If a mounted stone becomes dislodged, HOQ will reset it for you free of charge. Please note: HOQ cannot replace a lost diamond.
- Validity: This complimentary service is void if any work or alteration has been performed on the jewelry by a third-party jeweler.

Are lab grown diamonds real diamonds?
Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds with same carbon structure and chemical composition. A 'Lab Diamond' is exactly like a Natural Diamond, except instead of mining it from the Earth, they are grown in a lab.
They sparkle the same, have the same types of colour and clarity, and can come in the same sizes and shapes. In fact, they offer excellent value and are more affordable than natural ones of comparable quality and size.
Why choose lab grown diamonds?
Two important reasons to choose a lab diamond are origin & value. Rest assured that your diamond did not result in the funding of conflict in a war-torn country, nor did it require leaving a mile-wide hole in the ground. Also objectively, diamonds grown above the Earth are more pure than "dirt diamonds", blasted out of the Earth with dynamite and diesel. Compared to diamonds grown in the chaos under the Earth, diamonds grown by mankind have fewer defects and less strain in the crystal structure.
Quite simply, the more pure the diamond, the better, brighter, and whiter the gemstone.
Most of HOQs white lab diamonds receive the highest purity rating of Type IIa whereas less than 2% of mined diamonds receive the coveted IIa purity rating.
What are the 4Cs of lab diamonds?
Lab diamonds receive grading reports from independent gemological organisations on the 4Cs: Cut,Color, Clarity, and Carat Weight. Just like in mined diamonds, lab diamonds will exhibit variations across the 4Cs and range from poor to superlative quality. Not all lab diamonds are perfect,
colorless, and flawless!
Why are there many doubts about lab grown diamonds?
The simple answer is that the mined diamond industry, from the industrial miners all the way to retailers, fear the coming disruption of laboratory-grown diamonds.
The oligopoly of diamond mining creates artificial scarcity and continues to stymie the growth of this new age diamond. Part of that effort involves spreading fear, uncertainty, and doubt about lab diamonds.
Why are lab grown diamonds less expensive than natural diamonds?
Lab grown diamonds are created using an advanced technology whereas natural diamonds are mined from
under the surface of the earth. Lab diamonds do not incur the expense of mining, transportation and
artificial created scarcity and hence are free from the high mark-ups. Literally diamonds that don’t
cost the earth.

How long it takes for an order to get delivered?
Each item is customised and made to order. It takes 21 days for your product to get manufactured and further 2-3 days for PAN India free shipping. Some gifting items which are available in stock can be delivered in 3 days.
Care & Repair
How do I care for my jewelry?
To maintain the shine of your 18k gold jewel, scrub it lightly with a soft-bristled brush using warm water and detergent-free soap. Then, buff gently with a clean cloth.
Store your pieces in a safe, dry place when not worn to protect them from the elements of daily exposure. Our white gold pieces are rhodium plated for shine and durability; however this may wear off over time due to day-to-day use.
What if I want to repair my jewel?
We can change the ring size +/- by one. Other repairs are case to case and we need to inspect the piece before we can undertake the same. The cost of such repairs will be informed to you prior to its completion.
What is your return policy?
We know sometimes purchases are impulsive or not thought through which is why we have a full 15 day return policy. And we take it a notch further, you also have the option to upgrade your purchase where we buyback your original piece and you can instead choose something that really fits your bill.
Do you offer exchange & buyback of the product?
Yes, we offer a lifetime exchange/buyback on our diamonds at 80% of existing market rates.
