How international pricing works
Every international customer chooses one of two ways to receive their order.
DDP
Delivered Duty Paid
House of Quadri takes care of all customs clearance and taxes on your behalf. These are paid well in advance, before your order ships — so it's delivered directly to your door with nothing further to pay on arrival.
DAP
Delivered at place
You take care of clearing the duty at your end. We ship your order to your country, and once it reaches customs, you're notified to pay the applicable duty. Once that's paid, the shipment is released and sent on for delivery.
Wherever duty applies, it's calculated on the CIF value — Cost of the piece, Insurance, and international Freight, added together — before any import VAT or GST is applied on top. That's why the landed cost of the same piece differs from country to country.

United Kingdom
These are approximate estimates meant for planning purposes. CIF value = piece value + freight + clearance handling, and duty and tax are calculated on that figure. Converted at approx. ₹95 = $1.

How long does international delivery take?+
Typically 7–10 working days to Australia, the USA, the UK and most of Europe, once your order is dispatched. Timelines to other regions depend on the courier and destination customs process.
Is there a minimum order value for international shipping?+
Yes — international orders require a minimum piece value of approximately $1,050 (₹1,00,000).
What's the difference between DDP and DAP?+
With DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), we take care of all customs clearance and taxes on your behalf, paid well in advance, so your order arrives at your door with nothing further to pay. With DAP (Delivered at Place), you take care of clearing duty at your end — we ship your order, and once it reaches customs in your country, you're notified to pay the applicable duty. Once that's paid, it's released and sent on for delivery. You can choose whichever works for you.
How is customs duty calculated?+
Duty is applied on the CIF value — the piece's cost, insurance, and international freight added together. Import VAT or GST is then usually applied on top of the CIF value plus duty. Rates differ by country, which is why the landed cost varies — use the calculator above for a country-specific estimate.
Do I pay customs duty separately, or is it included in my order?+
It depends on whether you choose DDP or DAP. Under DDP, duty and tax are included and paid in advance by us. Under DAP, you pay duty and tax directly once your shipment reaches customs in your country. We'll confirm which applies before your order is placed.
Can I return or exchange an international order?+
No — international shipments are non-refundable and non-returnable. We'd encourage you to confirm sizing, specifications and any questions with our team before placing your order.
What happens if my piece needs a repair after delivery?+
If you or your piece are able to reach us in India, we can repair it at our workshop. We aren't able to organise reverse pickup or return shipping from abroad back to India, so getting the piece to us would be your responsibility.
Is my shipment insured?+
Yes. Every international shipment is packed securely and fully insured for the duration of transit.
Which courier delivers international orders?+
We ship via DHL, FedEx or Aramex, depending on your destination and what's available for that route.
Why are prices shown in USD when House of Quadri is based in India?+
Our pieces are priced in INR, and we convert to USD for international customers at the prevailing exchange rate — approximately ₹95 to $1 at the time of writing. The applicable rate will be confirmed with your quote.
How accurate is the estimate from the calculator?+
It's an approximation based on typical freight, clearance and duty/tax rates for each country. Your actual amount can vary depending on order specifics, exchange rates on the day, and destination customs assessment — we'll confirm the applicable figure with you directly.
