House of Quadribrings you India's finest lab grown diamond jewellery, crafted in 18K hallmarked gold with IGI-certified, conflict-free Type IIa diamonds. Every piece is designed to carry the same brilliance and permanence as a mined diamond, without the environmental cost or inflated price.
What Are Lab Grown Diamonds?
Lab grown diamonds are real diamonds in every sense of the word. They are not synthetic alternatives, not cubic zirconia, and not imitations. They are formed using the same carbon atoms, under the same extreme conditions, producing the same crystal structure that defines every diamond on earth.
The only difference is where that process happens. In nature, it takes billions of years and miles of earth pressure. In a laboratory, advanced technology replicates those exact conditions in a matter of weeks, producing a stone that is chemically, physically, and optically identical to a mined diamond.
When placed side by side, a gemologist cannot tell them apart with the naked eye. Even under magnification, the istinction requires specialist equipment. The diamond on your finger looks the same, feels the same, and lasts just as long.
How are lab grown diamonds created?
Two scientifically proven methods are used to grow diamonds in a laboratory setting.
CVD (Chemical Vapour Deposition)
A small diamond seed is placed inside a sealed chamber filled with carbon-rich gases. The chamber is heated to extreme temperatures, causing carbon atoms to separate from the gas and deposit onto the seed layer by layer. Over several weeks, a full diamond crystal forms. CVD diamonds are known for their exceptional purity and are the preferred method for producing Type IIa stones.
HPHT (High Pressure High Temperature)
This method mimics the geological process directly. A carbon source is subjected to temperatures above 1,400 degrees Celsius and pressures exceeding 1.5 million pounds per square inch. Under these conditions, carbon atoms rearrange into a diamond crystal
structure. HPHT is also used to enhance the colour of existing diamonds.
At House of Quadri, our diamonds are grown using both methods, depending on the design requirements. Every stone is tested and certified by IGI before it enters our production process. Read about Special Diamond Cuts to understand how cut shapes affect brilliance.

How Does House of Quadri Ensure Diamond Quality?
Every diamond at House of Quadri is evaluated against four internationally recognised quality parameters before it becomes a piece of jewellery. For a complete breakdown of how these grades work, explore our Diamond Education page.
Cut: The most important factor in brilliance. A well-proportioned cut allows maximum light to enter and reflect through the stone, ensuring every piece shines the way a diamond should.
Colour: We source diamonds in the D to F colour range on the GIA grading scale. This represents colourless to near-colourless stones,
the highest quality available.
Clarity: Our diamonds fall within the VVS1 to VS2 clarity range. Inclusions are invisible to the naked eye and undetectable without professional magnification.
Carat: Full transparency on carat weight. What is listed on your certificate and product description is the exact weight of the diamond in your jewellery.
Lab Grown Diamond Clarity Comparison
| Clarity Grade | Availability in Lab Grown | Natural Diamond | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| IF (Internally Flawless) | Available | Extremely rare and expensive | No inclusions at 10x magnification |
| VVS1 and VVS2 | Widely available at accessible prices | Rare, commands premium pricing | Inclusions invisible to the naked eye |
| VS1 and VS2 | Standard across our collection | Common in mid-range fine jewellery | Minor inclusions are invisible without magnification |
| SI1 and SI2 | Available on select designs | Most common retail grade | Inclusions visible under 10x magnification |
At House of Quadri, VVS is our standard, not our upgrade.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are lab grown diamonds real diamonds?
Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds with same carbon structure and chemical composition. A 'Lab Diamond' is exactly like a Natural Diamond, except instead of mining it from the Earth, they are grown in a lab.
They sparkle the same, have the same types of colour and clarity, and can come in the same sizes and shapes. In fact, they offer excellent value and are more affordable than natural ones of comparable quality and size.
Why choose lab grown diamond jewellery?
Choosing lab-grown diamond jewelry is a sophisticated decision that balances modern ethics with unparalleled brilliance. There are three primary reasons why our patrons prefer them:
1. Ethical Origin & Sustainability
Unlike mined diamonds, which can involve invasive extraction processes, lab-grown diamonds are created in controlled laboratory environments. This ensures a conflict-free origin that protects ecosystems and local communities. When you buy from House of Quadri, you are choosing a diamond with a clean, honest, and traceable background.
2. Superior Purity & Type IIa Quality
Scientifically, lab-grown diamonds are identical to mined stones but often boast fewer structural defects. At House of Quadri, many of our white diamonds achieve the prestigious Type IIa rating. This is the purest form of carbon, a distinction held by fewer than 2% of mined diamonds. This results in a stone that is exceptionally bright, clear, and visually stunning.
3. Exceptional Value & Design Freedom
Because the supply chain is more efficient, lab-grown diamonds are more affordable than mined stones of the same quality. This allows you to invest in a larger carat size or a more intricate custom ring design without compromising your budget. It is luxury reimagined—offering you more beauty and higher quality for your investment.
How do I maintain lab grown diamond jewellery so it lasts longer?
Caring for lab grown diamond jewellery is similar to caring for natural diamond jewellery. Since House of Quadri provides free annual cleaning as part of our promises, that is a big help. Also, storing pieces properly (in separate boxes or pouches so diamonds don’t scratch each other), avoiding exposure to harsh chemicals, and cleaning gently with suitable jewellery cleaning methods, all help maintain shine and durability. The materials used (like 18k hallmarked gold, solid craftsmanship) also support longevity.
Is lab grown diamond jewellery more affordable than traditional mined diamond pieces?
Yes, generally lab grown diamond jewellery tends to offer more affordable options for a similar look and quality. Because lab grown diamonds skip the mining costs and many of the traditional supply chain markups, you can get high clarity, desirable shapes, and sizes for lower prices than equivalent natural diamonds. For example, you might be able to purchase a 1.5-carat lab grown diamond ring for the same price as a much smaller mined diamond of equal quality. At House of Quadri, we highlight that lab grown diamonds offer “excellent value” and are more affordable than natural ones of comparable quality. So if you're looking for luxury that is more accessible, lab grown diamond pieces may be the way.
Can I customise a lab grown diamond piece to make something unique?
Absolutely, one of the most exciting features of House of Quadri is the ability to design a customised jewellery piece that matches your personality. We have a “Customise Now” option. That means you can share your concept or design, receive a rendering or preview, approve it, and then the piece is made. If you want something unique in lab grown diamond jewellery, your own shape, style, and setting, this option lets you do that. It helps ensure your jewellery feels personal. Customisation makes your jewellery extra special. A lab grown diamond India piece that you co-create carries both emotional and material value. It’s a way to own jewellery that truly reflects your taste.
Can anyone tell the difference between lab grown and natural diamonds?
No. Lab-grown diamonds have the same physical, chemical, and optical properties as natural diamonds. Even trained jewellers cannot tell the difference without specialized gemological equipment. They look, sparkle, and last just like mined diamonds.
Do lab-grown diamonds lose their shine over time?
No. Lab-grown diamonds retain their brilliance and clarity permanently. With a hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale, they are extremely durable and perfect for daily wear as well as heirloom jewellery pieces.
Are lab-grown diamonds a good choice for engagement and wedding jewellery?
Absolutely. Lab-grown diamonds are just as strong, brilliant, and long-lasting as natural diamonds, making them perfect for engagement rings and wedding jewellery. At House of Quadri, we craft timeless pieces designed to be cherished for a lifetime, symbolising love with both beauty and responsibility.
